Manage cloud agents

Cloud agents are the autonomous workers your projects can trigger. The page lets you browse global agents, create your own custom ones, and wire them to skills.

A cloud agent is an autonomous worker your project can trigger. Each agent has a role, a set of skills it loads, and the permissions it needs to act. The page lives at Agents → Agent Templates.

Internal vs other agents

The page splits agents by type in two tabs at the top. The Internal tab gathers agents that run inside Maleus and have privileged access. The second tab lists user-facing agents you can launch from a project. Each tab shows a count badge so you see at a glance what you have.

Find an agent

Above the grid you have:

  • A search input that filters by name, description, or attached skill.
  • A scope segmented control to switch between Global and Custom.

Each card shows the agent name, the Global or Custom badge, a short description, the skill chips it loads, and the permission count.

Create a custom agent

  1. Click New agent in the top-right. You land on /agents/templates/new.
  2. Pick a name, description, and role.
  3. Attach the skills the agent loads (pick from your skills catalog).
  4. Grant the permissions the agent needs. Permissions are the operations the agent can perform on a project.
  5. Save. The custom agent appears in its type tab.

Edit or delete

Click a custom agent card to open its detail page. You can change every field there. Delete is in the dropdown on the card. Global agents open in the same detail view but are read-only.

A custom agent inherits nothing from a global one. If you need to extend a built-in agent, recreate the configuration in your custom agent and add what you want on top.

Where agents run

You launch a cloud agent from the project's Agents page (/agents in the project sidebar). The list of available agents on that launcher reflects what you defined here.
