Maleus has two surfaces for documents: a Settings → Documents tab where an admin connects external sources, and a Documents section in the project sidebar where everyone reads or edits the pages those sources expose. Confluence is the source wired today. Notion, Google Docs and SharePoint are placeholders for now.
Connect Confluence (admin only)
Confluence is configured at the workspace level first (in Platform Settings) and then enabled per project.
Once saved, the selected spaces show up in the project's Documents section.
Browse and edit a document
Open Documents from the project sidebar. Each document opens in a viewer tailored to its type.
The tree on the left, the document on the right, with Edit and Download in the header.
The header lets you rename a non-Markdown document inline. For Markdown, the title is editable from the edit pane. You can also tag the document with a category from the Add category popover (pick an existing one or create one on the fly).
Add a document
The + next to Documents in the tree opens the source picker.
Three ways in today, three more marked coming soon.
.md,.txt,.pdf,.csv,.json,.xlsxor.docxfile.From Notion, From Google Docs and From SharePoint are shown as coming soon.
Confluence sync
Documents pulled from Confluence carry a Confluence badge in the header. A Sync button refreshes the page from the source. Sync is one-way: the document inside Maleus updates from Confluence, never the other way around.
When you're refining specs with the agent, the agent can pull context from any document you've selected. Connecting your tech specs Confluence space is a quick way to give it the background it needs.
Save behavior
For Markdown documents you write yourself, the editor flags Unsaved changes in the bottom bar. Press
⌘S(orCtrl+Son Linux/Windows) or click Save. The button switches to Saving… while the request is in flight.
