Welcome to Maleus

The big picture: how a project goes from an idea to a live app, and the building blocks you use along the way.

On this page

Maleus turns a plain-language description into working software. You say what you need, an agent designs it, specifies it, and builds it, and you stay in control at every step.

This is the 30-second mental model. The rest of Getting started walks each piece in detail.

The building blocks

ConceptWhat it is
WorkspaceYour team's home: every project, your members, and shared settings live here.
ProjectOne app you're building. Owns its specifications, integrations, and history.
VersionA numbered iteration of a project (V1, V2, V3…). Where the agent actually builds.
WorkshopAn AI-assisted session to think an idea through and produce structured artifacts, before you commit to building.
Deployment targetA named destination (a git branch in your repo) you promote a finished version to. Maleus tracks what runs where; your own infra does the hosting.

The path you are about to take

Getting started is one continuous run through the product, in the order you meet it. Four steps, and the last one loops back to the second.

StepWhat you do
1. Create your first projectMake the container. Name it, decide who gets in, and Maleus prepares your environment.
2. Shape it in your first workshopTalk the idea through. You come out with documents and a pipeline of versions.
3. Launch your first batchArm the queue. Maleus builds the versions back to back while you do something else.
4. Review what came backUse the app, record what is off, and turn those reviews into the next round.
01Create a projectThe container for everything else.
02Shape it in a workshopTalk it through, get a pipeline of versions.
03Launch a batchMaleus builds them back to back, unattended.
04Review what came backUse the app, record what is off, promote.

The reviews you file feed the next workshop, and the loop starts again.

The four stages, end to end.

You do not have to do it all at once. Most people run one workshop and two versions before they touch integrations, deployment targets or teammates.

Where to go next

Start at step one: Create your first project.

If your project already exists, jump to Shape it in your first workshop. If you would rather understand one version from the inside first, read What happens inside a version.

Everything here is also reachable from the project sidebar. This documentation just gives you the guided path.
