Manage workshop templates

Workshop templates are the prompts that bias each workshop session. Browse the global library and write custom templates for your team.

A workshop template is the prompt the agent loads at the start of a workshop session. Picking a template tells the agent what kind of conversation to drive. The page lives at Workshop → Workshop Templates.

Templates are split into two sections in a master / detail layout.

Create a custom template

  1. Click the new template action.
  2. Fill in the fields.
    • Name (placeholder: e.g. design-review). Keep it short, kebab-case works well.
    • Description: when this workshop is useful.
    • Prompt (markdown): the actual instructions the agent will see. Markdown is supported.
    • Inject integration secrets: toggle on if the workshop needs access to your project's integration secrets at runtime.
  3. Click Create.

Edit a custom template

Pick a custom template in the sidebar, switch to the editor on the right, and click Save when you're done. Changes propagate to new workshop sessions immediately. Sessions in flight keep the version of the prompt they started with.

Duplicate a global template

Global templates are read-only, but you can duplicate one to use it as a starting point for a custom variant. The duplicate lands in the Custom section, fully editable.

Keep prompts focused. One template per type of session (sprint planning, RFC drafting, post-mortem, etc.) is easier to maintain than a single template trying to do everything.
